It's a BOY!

We had an ultrasound last Thursday, it was pretty neat. The baby was doing flips and he kept his little hands up by his head almost the entire time.

I've had a strong feeling that it was a boy, but I doubted myself because I have been wrong before. So, I kept telling everyone I thought it was a girl, but I really didn't. I said it so much that I had Ryan convinced, who said it was a boy the moment we found out I was pregnant!

The baby wouldn't move into a good position to see the gender, so the tech had me lay on my side to see if we could get him to move. Ryan rubbed my tummy and when she came back, he was bouncing all over the place inside of me.

She asked us what we thought it was and we both said girl. She showed us something on the screen and said "Do you see that between the legs? That's no girl!"

I could not believe it. After three girls, I am having a son. I don't even know what to think!

Ryan is very happy and extremely proud.

It's like having my first baby all over again. I am SO excited. I can't wait to meet him!

Friday the 13th

Today I am 13 weeks along. Still feeling sick, but I'm dealing with it.

I can feel flutters a lot more often now. My tummy is starting to get hard. My boobs will not stop growing. All things I know you really wanted to know, right?

I had a dream last night that I took the gender-mentor test and it said I was having a boy, but I didn't believe it. That's the first gender dream I have ever had.

I made a poll for you to vote on what you think I am having:
Is Rachel having a Boy or a Girl?

Not much else going on. Ryan and I decided that when we have the big ultrasound, we will have the tech write down the baby's gender on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. Then we will open it together on Thanksgiving or Christmas. Probably Thanksgiving, because I am NOT a patient person. Even with the dream, I still think this one is a a girl.

So. Tired.

I cannot sleep enough. I can't wait to get some energy back! I'll be 12 weeks on Friday, so I *should* start feeling better soon.

Last week Jess and I had a date and went to see "Must Love Dogs". We ate hot dogs and then got food poisoning. It was awesome. I haven't been that sick in a long time.

Yesterday was Ryan's bday. 32! We went to his sisters and had cake. Everyone bought him pregnancy and baby books. It was pretty funny.

Not much else going on. I think I have started to feel some flutters, so that's pretty exciting. In a few months, I will be begging the baby to stay still.
