Noah is getting so big! He is 15 pounds and 25 inches already.

The girls are doing great, but are a bit bored. We are going to get a swing set soon for them. Karrissa was going to do Soccer, but the class was full. We are trying to find something else for her to do. I can't believe she is going into 7th grade! And Makenna will be in kindergarten!

They grow up so fast... :(

Another Year.

Happy Anniversary to my boo. It's been three years since we met.

A year ago, we were just about to learn of Noah's impending arrival. And here we are, with a house in the 'burbs and a beautiful family.

We've had some tough times, but more happy ones. Right now is one of the happiest. I've never been so content and secure before.

I love you and I am so proud of you.

I've changed so much

I just read my old Live Journal from 2003-2004 when Patrick and I first broke up and I met Ryan. Holy shit, have I ever changed! Just the way that I write is completely different.

Jess says she hates look back. I've always been one who is stuck in the past. For me, it's nice to be reminded of WHY you made some of the choices/decisions you did. It's very easy to have a selective memory, especially where love is concerned.

Anyway, while reading, I ran across this quote. I love it:

I've learned that people will forget what you said,
people will forget what you did,
but people will never forget how you made them feel.

So. Fucking. True.

Adjusting to Noah

I thought that having four kids would be super hard, but Noah is such a little angel, it doesn't even seem like I have one more person to take care of. He's so easy going. It's different having a boy, you don't feel like they are so fragile. :)

Ryan is a great dad. A total natural. I've never seen a man take such good care of a newborn before. He was meant to be a dad and I am so glad he got the chance. I love watching the two of them together. Here's an awesome picture that his brother-in-law took when Noah was a few minutes old:

I'm feeling inspired to start taking pictures again. It's been so long. I'm going to start today by taking some pics of the kiddos. I don't have any of all four of them yet.

Happy Holidays!

We had a great Christmas! Ryan flew my mom up so I got to see her a few days before the holiday. That was really nice. We went shopping in the middle of the night like we used to.

The girls made out like always. Especially now with Ryan's family buying for them. They had a blast.

We celebrated with Ryan's family the week before and went to my Grandmas on Christmas afternoon. The food was yummy and we all had a good time. Too bad for me, I couldn't drink like I did last year!
